# The REFI Token

Our native token, $REFI, acts as a proof of ownership of a percentage of future distributions to investors.

When you purchase the $REFI token, your share of distributions is directly proportional to your ownership of the **total $REFI token supply**, which is **1 billion tokens (1,000,000,000)**.

* For instance, if you own 10 million $REFI tokens (which is 1% of total $REFI token supply), you will receive 1% of future distributions.
